Intervention in a 170 m² apartment in the Salamanca neighborhood of Madrid.
This project envisions a completely open social area that structures the home and creates a large common space. The client, a family with many children, seeks a home where the priority is on gathering and play areas, allowing different activities and uses to be shared simultaneously. The use of different materials for the daytime and nighttime areas helps to enhance the separation between spaces for rest and relaxation versus areas for family interaction. In this way, we achieve a simple, practical, and well-utilized home.
